Hello and thank you for this article, there are some very good wallpapers listed there. I will certainly be visiting this blog regularly :)

If you don’t mind, then I would also add one article, which contains many great websites and a little guide about how to choose the most suitable wallpapers for your computer.

Thank you and here is the article: http://fr.ee/article/guide-to-free-wallpapers-and-screensavers

I recommend you start at the Ubuntu forums, since most of your answers will be found there. Start at the links below. There are a lot of other Ubuntu and Linux-based forums out there.

If you are using Gnome, as I understand it you need a special utility program to have different images on each desktop. If you have compiz set up properly, you will need 4 desktops to get a cube. Right click on the "current workspace" and select preferences and set to 4.

Hello,

I just installed Ubuntu 8.10 dual boot to Vista. And this OS is amazing very cool just learning how to use it. But I seen some cool tricks on youtube like snow globe desktop cube, flames when opening and closing Apps, or a video wallpaper etc. Is there a website where I can learn how to do this? What website has these apps so I can download them?
